ABOUT ME
Dolores Avery Pereira is a proud Afro LATINX actress who graduated from Syracuse University. She most recently accompanied her BFA in Acting by studying at the estimable Maggie Flanigan Studio 2 year conservatory program in New York City. She was recently seen as a top 12 Acting Finalist in the Ya Tu Sabes Monologue Slam presented by Nosotros Org and NBC!
NYC Theater credits include Good Friday (The Flea), Ms Estrada (Q Brothers), Orphans and Outsiders (John Cullum Theater). She recently performed in Days of Re-Creation at Philadelphia Theatre Company.
Originally from the small town of Niagara Falls, NY, Dolores has always valued the power of community. She advocates for social justice and is intentional on creating art that reflects her community.
